Organize the team as it actually grows
Departments and positions are simple, named lists — Sales, Marketing, Operations, or whatever your org chart actually looks like — assignable to any employee from the Users tab.
Once defined, departments and positions aren't just labels: instructions can be targeted at a specific department, and reports and filters across the app can scope to one group instead of the whole company.
Both lists can be toggled active or inactive without deleting them, so a department going dormant doesn't lose its history.
A flat list of names doesn't scale. This does.
