WTM is a conventional Next.js application with a normal file structure — pages, API routes, a Postgres or SQLite database — not a proprietary low-code platform with its own rules to learn first.
Adding a field, a new report, or an entirely new module means writing normal application code in a stack most web developers already know, not fighting a plugin sandbox or waiting on a vendor's extension marketplace.
Because the whole codebase is visible under AGPL-3.0, extending WTM starts from reading real code, not reverse-engineering an API contract nobody documented.
Extend it the way you'd extend any app you own.
