Open Platform
Open source, not open-washed
WTM is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 — not a source-available license with restrictions bolted on, but a real copyleft open-source license that keeps the project, and any derivative of it, open.
AGPL-3.0 means you can run WTM, read every line of it, and modify it for your own use without asking permission. The 'A' in AGPL closes the network loophole other copyleft licenses leave open — if you modify WTM and offer it as a service to others, those modifications have to be shared too.
For a self-hosted internal tool, in practice this means exactly what it sounds like: it's yours to run and adapt, for free, indefinitely.
Read the license, not the marketing.
WTM is free and open source under AGPL-3.0. Self-host it and see for yourself.
