Backups baked into the deploy, not an afterthought
Every update starts with a backup, automatically — before the deploy script touches the database, it takes a snapshot, so an update is never the reason you lose data.
Beyond the pre-update snapshot, WTM's own Setup → Backups panel handles ongoing scheduled backups — daily or weekly, encrypted or not, sent to local disk or an offsite destination — independent of when you happen to run an update.
Two layers of backup, both automatic, mean the only way to lose data is to turn them both off on purpose.
A backup strategy that doesn't depend on remembering.
WTM is free and open source under AGPL-3.0. Self-host it with backups on by default.
