Reminders that go out before something's late
Setup → Notifications configures global rules for tasks, invoices, and expenses — how many days before a deadline to remind, who receives it, and what time the email goes out.
Task reminders can go to the assignee, the creator, or both, with a separate option to send a second email specifically for overdue tasks so they don't blend in with on-time ones. Invoice and expense reminders work the same way, with their own lead time and send time.
These are workspace-wide defaults — no one has to configure their own reminder schedule for it to work.
Nothing's late because nobody was reminded.
